It is our great pleasure to welcome you to Lisbon, Portugal, and to NOVA University Lisbon, the venue of the seventh edition of the International Conference on Quality Engineering and Management (ICQEM). Since its inception, ICQEM has established itself as a distinguished forum for the dissemination of research, the exchange of ideas, and the advancement of knowledge in the fields of quality engineering and quality management.

The 7th International Conference on Quality Engineering and Management (ICQEM26) brings together scholars, practitioners, and industry leaders to explore the evolving role of quality in engineering, management, and organizational systems. Building on the success of previous editions, this year’s conference will broaden its scope to address how quality principles can be applied to the growing complexity of technological, organizational, and societal challenges.

Quality engineering and quality management are no longer confined to traditional manufacturing or service environments — they represent critical disciplines for navigating uncertainty, driving innovation, and ensuring resilience in a rapidly changing world.
